Our SMS service connects community members seeking help with trained volunteer responders. When you text one of our help numbers, your message is received by our platform and routed to available community volunteers who respond with information about local resources, referrals, and support.
You opt in to receive messages by initiating a text message conversation with one of our published help numbers above. By sending your first message, you consent to receive SMS replies from our volunteer responders related to your request for assistance. No purchase or payment is required. Consent is not a condition of receiving any other service.
Message frequency varies based on your conversation. Typically, you will receive between 1 and 20 messages per conversation. Messages are sent only in direct response to your requests — we do not send promotional, marketing, or automated messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan. We do not charge for our service.
You can stop receiving messages at any time by texting STOP to any of our help numbers. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. You may also text:
